This machine is purposefully designed to provide a self contained, self propelled one man operation wood fuel harvester capable of working on steep slopes and forestry ridge and furrow. This combined harvester for wood fuel is designed to provide 20cu metres of wood fuel quality wood chips per hour, from an 84kW diesel engine. The Biochip 50 is built to ISO quality standards and fully CE marked meeting the latest standards on noise, emissions and whole body vibration. The result of nearly twenty years experience in the design of forestry harvesting machinery and more than forty years knowledge of hydraulic operated equipment, this machine is well suited to the requirements of local wood fuel supply being capable of accessing those areas which are difficult to reach with a conventional outfit, it is easily transported from site to site and designed to load into 2cu metre bags for the convenient drying and handling of the chipped fuel.
